When Mama Aint Happy, Aint Nobody Happy

I had a hard time deciding what to title this post. As if I don't have more important things to worry about. Times have been tough- I would be lying if I didn't say that I am completely stressed out and overwhelmed at least 87% of the time. Ok, probably more like 97% but you get the idea. I am pretty sure it has to do with the insanity that is Christmas time-

but that rationale hasn't really lessened my burden.

And for some reason lately when I am really stressing, I shop (again, could be the time of year)! (Also could be that I just got back from a few days at my sisters and I always shop after being at her house- she always has the neatest stuff that I just gotta have- ask Aaron its true). Anyways, God, home, family, ALL of it, seems to suddenly be on the back burner while I work these days. I just cannot get caught up!

I am not doing the best job of juggling it all. I work from 9-6, am up all night with a baby, drop kids off in the mornings at school (its a miracle I make lunches every morning for them) then I dash to moms to drop off Aubrey. A shower or make up seems unheard of these days. Everything is last minute or an afterthought and I don't do well when things are like that. And laundry? What laundry! I am suddenly so convicted about how fast this year is going by for our baby girl and that I am missing it! Pumping at work still, but I can barely keep up (she is a ROCKSTAR when it comes to eating ;)).

I feel like we are all suffering right now because I am being pulled in way to many directions. I am completely prayerful that God will provide away for me to be home even if just for a little while.

I want to be with my kids as much as I can. I know I sound really debbie downer- that is not the normal me. And I am just going through a rough patch- life is BUSY! But I hope to get some prospective and things slow down soon!

Cause I think we would all be happier if mama is happier, right? ;)

It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year

Life has been extremely busy! This time of year has always been, but even more so this year with a new baby! Who, by the way, is 5 months old now! I am frusterated that I haven't documented more, but I have kept little journals here and there about life at our house right now! SO I can fill in scrapbooks and blogs later :),

when I can finally catch my breath!

Sid celebrated his 13th birthday this month! We had a party at our house with my parents and cake and gifts! Cannot beleive he is actually a teenager! I have no idea where the time went or how to get it back! We are so thankful to have such a sweet boy! He really is a great kid!

In mid December we went to Arkansas to visit Granny and Gramps and all the Fulmers!
Granny loved to her hold her newest great grandbaby!

Granny and Aubrey

Here Nanny held Aubrey while Gramps talked to her.

He nicknamed her "skinny" which just cracks us up!

Shortly after we got back from Arkansas we had Christmas at Nanny and Pop Pops house. I love how Aubrey os never looking at the camera when we try for these sweet family shots! Such a little stinker!

We had Christmas at our own house on Christmas eve! It was so much fun!

Look this way Aubrey! Oh Well!

Next we had Christmas with mom dad, Sandy and the Hoover clan!

Never a dull moment with family!

Opening presents with daddy!

Happy Halloween!

Jennifer and her family came to Texas for a few days at the end of October. We celebrated Ashley's birthday while they were here and watched the Texas Rangers in the World Series! (hence the red shirts below!)

Sid and Zoe are working hard on their pumpkins- over the years pumpkin carving has evolved a lot- I am always excited to see what the kids come up with.

Aubrey was suppose to be this flower for Halloween! That lasted for like 5 minutes! Its too hot here for this kind of costume- plus baby no likey!

Don't ask what the big kids were, cause they weren't anything- they were just "scary"!

This is how we looked before hitting the streets to trick or trea! I love Zoe's halloween tights! And Sid's mask overflows with blood if he squeezes a heart in his hand- which I am pretty sure he is doing in this picture! Creepy! Aubrey ended up wearing some pink leopard print pjs! I was a mom! Or Bella from twilight its hard to tell! So similar...

Aren't the pumpkins great?? Sid's is on the left and Zoe's is on the right!

Happy Halloween!

Aubrey you are 3 months old!

You are still nursing and I am pumping at work while you stay with Grandma during the day! You haven't started any solids or rice cereal yet!

You go with us to Sid's football games! Sometimes daddy or I will walk around with you cause you can cry very loud when you want something!

You have such a sweet personality and you are starting to smile :)

Sid and his Science project for Coach Varrone's class!

Photo Shoot With Lacey

SO my best freind Lacey takes really good pictures for fun with her really good camera! She had asked to take some of Aubrey. It has taken me a while to get it together enough to have her over. Well last week she came over and these "fun" pics that were just taken in my front yard are melting my heart! Her talent is unreal!! And my little 3 month old baby is so precious!

As soon as she was done she showed me a few- I had NO IDEA how amazing they were going to be! I am so thankful for Lacey and that she shares her amazing talent with me!

My Baby Aubrey Grace forever captured in time as my rolly little 3 month old!

Sisters :)

Daddy holding Aubrey's tiny feet!

This one makes my heart hurt!

Those little tiny fingers will one day hang onto a different set of rings!

FUN! "Grandma's Girl!" Nanny bought her these bloomers! SO cute!

Magical! I love this one!

Daddy's Girl!

My treasure, My heart!

The night before Lacey came over, I sat up in the middle of the night rocking this little one to sleep, and fretttting about these pictures, hoping Lacey would be able to work with the plainess of an infant photo shoot in a front yard....I needn't have worried- Lacey is so blessed!

All 3 of my babies! I love that Lacey takes the time and care to share her talents with me! I think she could quit her day job today and photograph babies fulltime!
